BoxIT
BoxIT is a storage company that offers secure and clean storage units in a variety of sizes for customers to store their belongings for as long as they need them. Boxes are rented to tenants to store possessions for one-time situations such as moving or extended vacations, or simply to store infrequently used items that take up space in the home.
They also offer solutions for all types of companies that need to store surplus inventory, equipment or archives. In addition, BoxIT has a business model based on franchising that allows it to expand its facilities.
The challenge
BoxIT needed to improve its overall release time for new features on its websites and management systems. They spent a great deal of time on manual tasks, troubleshooting after deploying new versions, as well as using costly and obsolete local infrastructure.
The increasing complexity of the end customer’s systems simply overwhelmed their workflow. If BoxIT had not decided to address the problem, they would be spending more time solving problems instead of focusing on generating value for their customers.
