1st Data Management Congress in Uruguay

DAMA Uruguay is a group of Uruguayan professionals dedicated to technology and business, whose objective is to generate knowledge and promote best practices in data and information management. It is an independent, non-profit association that is an active member of DAMA International.
DAMA International is a not-for-profit, vendor-independent association of technical and business professionals committed to promoting information and data management concepts and practices worldwide.
The congress became an invaluable space for all those interested in exploring the latest trends in data management and information technology in Uruguay.
Held in the Idea Vilariño Room of Antel’s Communications Tower, the Congress attracted a massive attendance, underlining its resounding success. During this meeting, essential topics for the field of Data Management were discussed, including security, data quality, Data Governance and other topics of relevance to the sector.
One of the greatest strengths of the congress was the platform offered to share experiences, success stories and best practices in data management. The importance of training and specialization in this field was emphasized, highlighting internationally recognized standards such as DAMA-DMBoK and the CDMP certifications of DAMA International.
We are very proud to have contributed to this event which, without a doubt, has significantly boosted the development and relevance of Data Management in Uruguay. We thank all participants and speakers for making this Congress a learning and enriching experience.
