41st Annual Spring Party of the America Society
BigCheese was honored to be part of the America Society’s 41st Annual Spring Party on June 13 in New York.
We would like to thank Amazon Web Services (AWS) for inviting us to participate in the Americas Society 41st Annual Spring Party ceremony, where the prestigious “Gold Insigne” award was presented to the President of Uruguay, Dr. Luis Lacalle Pou. This recognition is the highest award given by the America Society, a business organization founded in 1963 by David Rockefeller.
Beyond political ideologies, and taking into account the particular regional situation, we believe it is necessary to highlight the message of unity given by the president, in which he valued that the current context, mainly related to the technological area, has to do with policies that come from previous governments. This is undoubtedly something that is very positively valued from other places. It is a clear message that Uruguay is a serious country to consider in the long term.
It was a very proud moment for BigCheese to have the opportunity to be present at this event together with distinguished leaders and visionaries of the Americas. Our CEO, Engineer Fernando Martinez Ruiz Martinez, attended the ceremony accompanied by Lorena Zicker, AWS Regional Public Sector Manager, and Martin Beyries, AWS Senior Public Policy Manager. We shared an evening of inspiration and meaningful dialogue about the present and future of our region.
For us, the support of AWS is very important, their support has been fundamental to the growth and success of BigCheese, sharing the principle of leadership in customer obsession, to drive cutting-edge technology solutions that underpin business objectives.
