Syrus Group is a distribution expert in emerging and mature markets in the polymers and chemicals industry, offering complete supply chain and logistics solutions tailored to both its suppliers and customers.
Syrus Group started its activities in 2003 with operations in Uruguay, then in 2006 opened an office in Belgium to consolidate its presence in the African continent. Today, Syrus is a multinational company with facilities in Latin America, Africa and Asia.

Syrus experienced the benefits of having a flexible infrastructure, as over time they increased the size of the Amazon EBS volume, resized instances, and also added more remote desktop users with Microsoft CAL licenses, all with minimal operational effort and no system downtime.

After migrating SAP Business One to AWS, along with the infrastructure designed by BigCheese , Syrus also saw the following results.

20% decrease in infrastructure maintenance costs compared to local infrastructure.
100% of the Excel sheets used to transfer information between the core and SAP were eliminated thanks to the total integration between both systems.
60% less time spent on operational tasks related to Syrus Core System deployment, due to improvements gained through the implementation of continuous delivery on AWS Elastic Beanstalk instances.
