Nuevo Siglo is a cable television company, born in 1995, whose mission is to bring to all homes in Montevideo the best programming in the world, seeking to add the greatest value to its customers with its product, its service and the human quality of its staff.
The challenge
Create a geo-referenced alarm system to quickly identify potential problems, thus improving service quality and optimizing Nuevo Siglo’s customer service costs.

The time between the occurrence of problems and their detection was reduced to 12 minutes, allowing Nuevo Siglo’s maintenance team to discover the problem before its customers file a complaint. By monitoring more than 10,000 points in real time, we created an interactive visualization to quickly classify problems and their eventual repair protocols.

For complex problems, the follow-up of individual clients resulted in a reduction of up to 80% of the time needed to deliver a solution and allowed for greater follow-up on each case, thus avoiding subsequent complaints.

We can provide more data about the user experience. It is now possible to know whether users enter numbers or use the arrow buttons to change channels, which customer uses the menu button, which channel is the most popular, etc.
