MUS
MUS is the first music streaming application made in Uruguay (“the Uruguayan Spotify”), which prioritizes and promotes local music and culture through an extensive library of songs and playlists. MUS is an essential tool for the growth of the local music, entertainment and culture industry.
The challenge
Implement diverse systems, reliable applications and a high-performance architecture that provides a solid foundation and is able to scale to meet business needs, enabling an optimal user experience and optimizing MUS operating costs.

By migrating the content catalog to AWS, we achieved a 400% improvement in average search response time.

In a catalog of 60 million tracks, the average search response time was reduced to 100 milliseconds.

Server maintenance is low: only five hours per month are required to maintain 10 EC2 instances and no production servers have needed to be restarted since the launch two years ago.
